Florida State 53, Virginia 51:
Michael Snaer scored 14 points, including a go-ahead three-point play, as the Seminoles survived the visiting Cavaliers' late comeback.

Florida State (16-14, 8-9 ACC) lost an 11-point lead late but Snaer's driving floater and free throw with 4.4 seconds left put them back ahead. Virginia (20-10, 10-7) lost the ball at midcourt and never got off a final shot.

Okaro White led the Seminoles with 17 points and six rebounds and Kiel Turpin added 11 points. White scored 11 straight points as Florida State built a 22-19 lead in the first half.

Akil Mitchell had 15 points and 12 rebounds for Virginia, which used a 15-3 run to take a one-point lead with 1:28 left. Joe Harris added 13 points and Mike Tobey had 12.

Boris Bojanovsky's dunk with 6:31 left put Florida State ahead 47-36, but Justin Anderson's steal and dunk started the Cavaliers' late run. Harris' free throws put Virginia ahead 51-50 and both teams had a missed shot in the final minute before Snaer's heroics.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Virginia lost its 10th straight at Florida State and hasn't won in the state of Florida since 2001. ... The Seminoles had six blocks and have recorded 25 in their last three games. ... Florida State has eight ACC wins for a school-record fifth consecutive season.
