Florida State 73, Maryland 71:
Michael Snaer hit a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining, and the Seminoles rallied to beat the visiting Terrapins for the second time this month.

Florida State (12-8, 4-3 ACC) trailed by eight with 6:52 to play before Snaer scored with 45 seconds left to cut Maryland’s lead to one. Maryland’s Alex Len missed a dunk with 30 seconds left, setting up Snaer’s game-winning shot.

Snaer finished with 19 points and Okaro White had 14 points for the Seminoles, who rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat the Terrapins 65-62 on Jan. 9.

Dez Wells scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half for Maryland (15-6, 3-5), but his desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer missed the mark. Logan Aronhalt had 11 points, and Charles Mitchell added 10 for the Terrapins, who are winless in four ACC road games.

Len, the Terrapins’ leading scorer and rebounder, scored his first basket with 7:45 to play and finished with four points and five boards after being held to 17 minutes because of foul trouble.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Snaer also hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the Seminoles’ last home game, a 60-57 win over Clemson on Jan. 24. …Maryland PG Pe’Shon Howard missed the game because of illness. … Florida State has gone six games without leading at halftime.
