No. 5 Indiana 74, Penn State 51: Christian Watford scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the visiting Hoosiers cruised to an easy win.

Cody Zeller had 15 points and four steals, Jordan Hulls added 14 points and Victor Oladipo contributed 10 for Indiana (14-1, 2-0 Big Ten), which has won five straight since a loss to in-state rival Butler.

Ross Travis scored 14 points and Jermaine Marshall added 11 to lead Penn State (8-6, 0-2), which had a five-game home win streak snapped and dropped to 7-2 at Jordan Center this season.

The Nittany Lions led at 3-2 and never again as the Hoosiers ripped off a 13-0 run and never looked back. Indiana led by as many as 18 in the first half and took a 44-27 advantage into halftime.

Penn State never got closer than 14 points in the second half. The Nittany Lions shot 31.7 percent from the field and leading scorer D.J. Newbill was limited to eight points on 3-for-15 shooting.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Indiana has won four straight meetings since losing six of seven to the Nittany Lions from 2008-11. … The Hoosiers have won four of their past five Big Ten road games dating to last season. … Penn State has lost nine straight games against ranked teams and is 1-12 versus ranked opponents under second-year coach Patrick Chambers.
