Ahmad Starks scored 21 points and Joe Burton added 18 points and 10 rebounds as the host Beavers bounced back from a stunning loss to Towson.

Eric Moreland recorded his fourth straight double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Oregon State (10-3), which shot a season-high 62.3 percent from the field and outrebounded the Broncs by 23.

Texas-Pan American (7-9) was led by Hurley Johnson’s 14 points. The Broncs shot 36.7 percent from the field, including 18.8 percent (3-of-16) from 3-point range. Aaron Urbanus added 11 points and five assists.

Oregon State, which had its five-game winning streak snapped Saturday with a 67-66 overtime loss to struggling Towson, led 42-24 at halftime and extended its lead to 28 when Roberto Nelson hit a 3-pointer with 6:21 remaining.

Devon Collier scored 12 points and Nelson had 11 for the Beavers, who open Pac-12 action at home against Oregon on Sunday.
