Fabyon Harris hit the go-ahead free throws with 43 seconds left and finished with 12 points as the host Aggies held off the Black Knights.

Ray Turner added 11 points and seven rebounds and Elston Turner scored 10 for Texas A&M (9-3), which bounced back from a 53-51 home loss to Southern on Dec. 22. The Aggies improved to 7-1 at home.

Kyle Wilson scored a game-high 15 points and Kyle Toth had 13 for Army (6-6).

Texas A&M held a 31-28 lead at the half and went up by as many as seven points early in the second but could not put the Knights away. Toth scored five points during a 7-0 run that knotted it at 38 and it went back and forth into the final minute.

Army was still ahead 55-53 after Wilson’s layup with 2:25 left but would not score the rest of the way. Harris was fouled on a 3-point attempt and hit all three free throws to give the Aggies the lead and J’Mychal Reese closed it out with three free throws in the final 23 seconds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Army lost its fifth straight on the road and dropped to 1-6 overall away from West Point. … The Black Knights, who came in averaging 77.5 points, went 6-for-20 from beyond the arc against the Aggies. Texas A&M shot 33.9 percent but went to the foul line 27 times (converting 15 chances). Army went 5-for-7 from the stripe.
