Northwestern 69, Delaware State 50: Drew Crawford scored 13 of his 18 points during the first half as the host Wildcats won their second South Padre Island Invitational contest.

Dave Sobolewski matched Crawford with four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points as Northwestern (4-0) won its fourth straight at home.

The Wildcats were sluggish out of the blocks, but Crawford ignited a 22-4 run to give his team a 35-22 lead at the half.

Tahj Tate scored a game-high 23 points for Delaware State (3-2), which has dropped back-to-back contests.

Reggie Hearn drilled a trio of 3-pointers to finish with 12 points for Northwestern, which connected on 12-of-21 (57.1 percent) shots from beyond the arc.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Northwestern forward Nikola Cerina sat out Tuesday's contest with an ankle injury. The Texas Christian transfer was originally injured in his debut versus Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday. ... Tate went 4-for-6 from 3-point range for Delaware State, which collectively went 2-for-15 in its 87-48 loss to Illinois State on Sunday. ... Northwestern held a 31-17 edge in rebounds.
