Chaz Williams collected 14 points, seven assists and five steals to lead Massachusetts to an 89-75 victory over Utah on Friday at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in Nassau, Bahamas.

Jesse Morgan went 5-of-6 from 3-point range for 15 points off the bench, and Javorn Farrell added 13 points for the Minutemen (5-1), who will face College of Charleston for fifth place Saturday.

The Utes (1-4) will attempt to avoid three losses in as many days when they take on North Carolina-Asheville in Saturday's seventh-place game.

Utah shot 68 percent (13-of-19) in the first half but still trailed 44-35 at the break due in part to 11 turnovers. Massachusetts ended up scoring 31 points off 18 turnovers.

The Minutemen made their run in the back end of the first half, turning a 24-19 deficit into a nine-point lead over the final 10:27. Williams started the run with a jumper and assisted on three straight 3-pointers over Massachusetts’ next three possessions.

Utah can be encouraged by the fact that they reached the 70-point plateau against a Division I team for the first time in four tries. Josh Watkins led the Utes with 16 points.
