BAYLOR 70, OKLAHOMA 60: Pierre Jackson scored 18 points and Brady Heslip added 16, helping the No. 14 Bears outshoot the visiting Sooners from long range.

Baylor (24-5, 11-5 Big 12) remained tied for third place in the Big 12 with Iowa State, which won at Kansas State earlier in the day.

Jackson and Heslip hit four 3-pointers apiece to help the Bears shoot 8-of-23 from beyond the arc, while the Sooners (14-14, 4-12 Big 12) were 0-for-12, a difference of 24 points.

Steven Pledger had 21 points to lead Oklahoma, which has lost seven of its past eight games.

The Sooners took a 34-31 lead into halftime when Pledger hit a wild fade-away jumper on the baseline and was fouled for a three-point play with 5.1 seconds left.

Oklahoma hung even with the Bears until about midway through the second half when Baylor went on a 13-2 run, capped by back-to-back Heslip 3-pointers to make it 59-48 with 5:46 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After winning 16 straight meetings in Waco, Oklahoma has lost its past three to Baylor at the Ferrell Center … The Bears went 4-0 against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State for the first time ever … Oklahoma had gone 510 straight games with at least one made 3-pointer.
