Terrence Ross had 10 points and matched a career high with 14 rebounds as Washington remained in sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 by posting a 69-41 victory over visiting USC on Saturday.

Tony Wroten had 13 points and eight assists for Washington (16-7, 9-2 Pac-12), which won its fifth straight game and improved to 11-2 in its last 13 contests.

The Huskies have a one-game lead over California and Colorado in the Pac-12.

Garrett Jackson scored 15 points for USC (6-18, 1-10), which has lost 11 of its last 12 games.

Washington allowed its fewest points in a conference game since limiting Oregon State to 40 points in 1996 and had a dominating 52-23 rebounding edge.

The struggling Trojans stayed in sight of the Huskies into the second half and trailed by 11 with under nine minutes to play before Washington put the game away with 18 consecutive points to take a 62-33 lead.

USC shot only 28.8 percent from the field and was 1 for 16 from 3-point range. The Trojans nearly went the entire game without sinking one until Greg Allen drained a 3-pointer with 1:20 remaining.

Byron Wesley scored 12 points for the Trojans, who are 1-8 on the road and winless in six conference road tilts.
