Perry Jones III had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 7 Baylor snapped a two-game slide with a 77-65 victory at Oklahoma on Tuesday night.

It was the third double-double of the season for Jones III, who finished 9-of-15 from the field.

Pierre Jackson added 16 points and seven assists for the Bears (18-2, 5-2 Big 12), who were coming off losses to Kansas and Missouri after starting the season 17-0.

Baylor led 35-30 at halftime and by as many as 13 in the second half, but Oklahoma (12-7, 2-5 Big 12) didn’t go away quietly. The Sooners trimmed the lead to 62-60 on Cameron Clark’s jumper with 4:40 remaining, but Jones III and Jackson took over.

The inside-out duo combined for eight points over the next two minutes, and Baylor rebuilt a 69-62 margin on Jones III’s layup with 2:45 left.

Steven Pledger had 17 points and Romero Osby added 16 for Oklahoma, which never led and fell to 9-2 at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Quincy Acy finished with 13 points, including a layup on a pass from Jones III with just over a minute left that sealed the Bears’ eighth victory away from home.
