Allen Crabbe had 16 points and 10 rebounds as visiting California held off Washington’s second-half rally for a 69-66 Pacific-12 win, the Golden Bears’ fourth victory in a row.

Robert Thurman added a career-high 16 points for California (16-4, 6-1 Pac-12), which entered the game tied for first place in the Pac-12 with Stanford. The Golden Bears snapped a three-game losing streak against the Huskies.

Terrence Ross scored 15 points and Aziz N'Diaye tallied his third double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds for Washington (11-7, 4-2 Pac-12), which trailed by 10 at halftime. Tony Wroten added 14 points.

The Huskies pulled within two on Ross’ 3-pointer with 10 seconds to play, and they were in position to force overtime after California's Justin Cobbs hit one of his two free throws. The Huskies had a good look at the buzzer, but Darnell Gant's 3-point attempt fell short.

Thurman played a season-high 21 minutes and grabbed seven rebounds for the Golden Bears, who were playing their first game without forward Richard Solomon. The sophomore forward was ruled academically ineligible for the remainder of the season on Wednesday.

California, which outrebounded Washington 35-30, improved to 15-0 when leading at halftime. The Golden Bears shot 50 percent in the first half and 24-of-51 (47.1 percent) overall.
