Scott Christopherson scored 17 points, including a banked-in 3-pointer as time expired, and Iowa State came back to defeat visiting Oklahoma State 71-68 on Wednesday.

The Cyclones (13-5, 3-2 Big 12) trailed by six with three minutes remaining and 68-65 with 20 seconds left, but Tyrus McGee snatched a defensive rebound and raced down for a pull-up 3-pointer with 17 seconds on the clock that tied the game at 68.

Oklahoma State (9-9, 2-3 Big 12) had a final chance to win it before overtime, but Markel Brown dribbled the ball off his foot, giving Iowa State the ball back around midcourt with 4.8 seconds left.

Christopherson inbounded the ball to Chris Babb and then immediately got it back, dribbling toward the 3-point line to drain the decisive shot.

McGee and Royce White also had 17 points apiece for Iowa State, which improved to 10-2 at home this season.

Keiton Page and freshman Le’Bryan Nash each scored 21 points for the Cowboys, who fell to 2-8 away from home.

The Cyclones led 31-29 at halftime and for much of the second half, but Page nailed back-to-back 3-pointers late in the game to give Oklahoma State a 64-60 lead with four minutes left.
