Jared Sullinger scored a season-high 28 points as No. 7 Ohio State rolled to a 76-47 victory at Iowa.

Sullinger, who finished 13-for-18 from the field and also collected eight rebounds, poured in 15 points during the first half to carry the Buckeyes (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) to a 28-19 halftime advantage. A 3-pointer by Deshaun Thomas sparked a 10-2 run at the outset of the second half that put the visitors comfortably ahead, 38-21, with 17:52 to go.

The Hawkeyes (10-7, 2-2) struggled to get going offensively, hitting just five of 23 first-half shots (21.7 percent) and finishing the day at 32 percent overall. Iowa also hurt itself with 20 turnovers.

William Buford added eight points and 11 rebounds for Ohio State, which shot 52 percent and finished with a 41-31 edge on the boards. Eric May led Iowa with nine points.
