Thomas Robinson had a career high 30 points and 21 rebounds and Tyshawn Taylor added 18 points as Kansas defeated North Dakota, 84-58 at Allen Fieldhouse.

North Dakota (5-8), in its final Division I transition year before moving into the Big Sky Conference next season, trailed by as many as 29 points and was unable to stop Robinson. The junior forward had several crowd-pleasing dunks and made 10-of-14 shots from the field for Kansas (10-3), which won its third consecutive game before it opens Big 12 play against Kansas State Wednesday.

Robinson and Taylor led the way in the first half with 12 points each as the Jayhawks led by as many as 16 on two occasions. After the hosts missed their first five shots from the field, Robinson had consecutive dunks that gave Kansas the lead for good.

Kansas’s defense was stifling in the first half as North Dakota made just 8-of-27 field goals.

Troy Huff had 16 points and Aaron Anderson added 11 on 5-of-6 shooting for North Dakota.
