Sophomore Mardracus Wade scored 18 points as Arkansas routed Texas Southern 77-49 for its fifth straight win.

Wade, a sophomore guard, scored in double figures for the eighth time this season and came within two points of matching his career high of 20 set earlier this season against Mississippi Valley State. Wade made 5-of-7 from the floor, including four 3-pointers, and had four rebounds.

Arkansas (10-3) also got 13 points and seven blocks from Hunter Mickelson, and 10 points each from Marvell Waithe and Rickey Scott, who had his third straight double-figure scoring game.

Texas Southern (1-11) lost its 10th straight game. Fred Sturdivant had 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Tigers.

The Razorbacks never allowed Texas Southern to get its footing. The Hogs raced to a 14-2 lead and stretched it to 39-19 by halftime.
