Rashad Madden collected 10 points, seven assists and four rebounds as Arkansas used a balanced attack to hold off Southeast Louisiana, 62-55, on Saturday.

Mardracus Wade and Devonta Abron scored eight points apiece for the Razorbacks (6-4), who had eight players score at least five points but only Madden reached double figures.

Arkansas was outrebounded, 39-28, but used its full-court pressure defense to force 20 turnovers and hold the Lions to 33 percent shooting.

Southeast Louisiana kept it close throughout the second half, never allowing the Razorbacks to pull farther away than 60-50, when Madden drained a jumper with 4:30 remaining.

Arkansas would not make another field goal but the Lions could not take advantage, hitting just 2 of 13 field goals in the final four minutes. Julysses Nobles’s free throws with 30 seconds left provided the winning margin.

The win snapped a two-game slide for the Razorbacks, who do not face another major-conference team before beginning SEC play on Jan. 7.

Elgin Bailey scored a game-high 12 points for the Lions (5-4).
