Visiting Georgia Tech opened the second half on an 18-4 run and beat Georgia 68-56 for its first win in Stegeman Coliseum since 1976.

The Yellow Jackets (5-4) snapped a 13-game skid in Athens, Ga.

The Bulldogs (4-5) led 29-25 at the break, but the Jackets hit 8 of their first 11 shots in the second half.

It was a collective effort, as five Jackets scored in double digits led by Jason Morris’ 15 points. Center Daniel Miller went 5-for-5 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds.

Senior guard Gerald Robinson scored a game-high 20 for the Bulldogs, who have dropped four straight. Robinson scored 16 points in the first half but was guarded well after halftime by Tech swingman Glen Rice Jr. Robinson made 6 of 9 shots in the first half, 1 of 7 in the second.
