Dom Morris collected 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Terriers (4-4), who have won four in a row. The Terriers had not beaten the cross-town rival Eagles since 1974.

Boston College, which is integrating nine freshman into a lineup that lost 10 players from last season, has also lost to local rivals Holy Cross and Massachusetts this season.

The Terriers did most of their damage from deep, connecting on 13 of 36 3-point attempts.

The Eagles were clinging to a 45-44 lead with 11:16 remaining when Boston University made its run. Matt Griffin knocked down a 3-pointer and Partin scored the final seven points during a 14-3 burst over the next four minutes.

Boston College would climb back within six points with 2:50 left but Partin made another shot from beyond the arc and the Terriers cruised to the finish.

Lonnie Jackson was the only player to reach double figures with 11 points for the Eagles (2-6), who were outrebounded, 37-24.
