Dee Bost and Rodney Hood scored 17 points apiece as Mississippi State routed visiting Tennessee-Martin 76-50 on Friday for its fifth consecutive win.

Center Wendell Lewis added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Mississippi State (6-1), which shot 59.3 percent from the floor and held a 57-37 lead with 11 minutes remaining.

The Bulldogs went with a four-guard lineup as Arnett Moultrie and Renardo Sidney missed their second straight game nursing nagging injuries.

Hood, the most recent SEC Freshman of the Week honoree, has scored in double digits in six of his seven games.

Dane Smith scored 17 points for the Skyhawks (1-5), who remain winless against fellow Division I teams this season.

Myles Taylor added 12 points for Tennessee-Martin, which shot only 37.9 percent from the field and got outrebounded despite the absence of Moultrie and Sidney.
