William Buford scored a season-high 25 points and Jared Sullinger recorded his fourth straight double-double as No. 3 Ohio State pulled away in the second half for an 80-47 victory over visiting Valparaiso on Friday.

The Buckeyes (6-0) led by only four at the midway point but scored the first eight points of the second half as part of a 19-2 blitz that made it 52-31 with 13:37 remaining. Sullinger, who finished with 13 rebounds, scored seven of his 14 points during the run.

Buford hit all four of his 3-point attempts while setting a season-high for the second straight game. He scored 17 of his points after halftime for Ohio State, which shot 68 percent over the final 20 minutes.

Aaron Craft added 15 points, eight assists and four steals for the Buckeyes.

Jay Harris paced the Crusaders (5-2) with 18 points, including 15 in the first half.
