Michael Snaer collected 18 points and 10 rebounds and Luke Loucks added 12 points as No. 20 Florida State cruised to a 73-53 victory over Massachusetts at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in Nassau, Bahamas on Thursday.

Okaro White chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Seminoles (5-0), who will play either Harvard or Utah in the winner’s bracket on Friday.

The Seminoles took control at the end of the first half, closing with a 16-4 burst to go into the locker room with a 36-25 edge. Snaer hit a 3-pointer and totaled seven points during the spurt.

A 9-3 run to start the second half stretched it out to 45-28, and the Minutemen would not get it back to single digits.

Florida State, which has led the nation in defensive field goal percentage in each of the last two seasons, has held each of its first five opponents under 33 percent from the floor.

Massachusetts (4-1) managed just 28 percent shooting (19 of 68) in the contest, including 2 of 23 from 3-point range.
