Senior Marcus Relphorde had 19 points as Colorado wrapped up the No. 5 seed in the Big 12 tournament with a 67-57 victory Saturday over Nebraska on Senior Night.

Senior Levi Knutson added 13 points and senior Cory Higgins, who was playing his school record 125th game, added 12 for Colorado (19-12, 8-8 Big 12).

The Buffaloes will meet No. 12 Iowa State in the first round of the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday. The Cyclones defeated Colorado 95-90 on March 2.

Lance Jeter had 10 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Nebraska (19-11, 7-9), which will meet Oklahoma State in the first round Wednesday.

Relphorde, Knutson and Higgins combined for 10 points as the Buffaloes opened the game with a 14-3 run.

Nebraska, which trailed 33-28 at halftime, got to within one point twice in the second half.

Colorado led 42-41 with 12:16 left before it took control with an 8-2 run as Relphorde and Alec Burks scored four points apiece.

Burks, the second leading scorer in the Big 12, finished with 12 points on 3-of-11 shooting. Freshman Andre Roberson had a game-high 10 rebounds for the Buffaloes.

This could have the been the final meeting in a series that began in 1903 as Colorado heads to the Pac-10 and Nebraska goes to the Big Ten next season.
