Demetri McCamey scored 22 points in his final home game and Illinois wrapped up the regular season with a 72-48 rout of Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The Fighting Illini (19-12, 9-9 Big Ten) wasted little time taking control, jumping out to a 23-9 lead and holding a double-digit advantage the rest of the way. Illinois hit 19-of-35 shots (54.3 percent) in the first half while turning the ball over just once, then extended the gap to as many as 29 points in the second period.

Indiana had one of its worst shooting games of the season, hitting just 3-of-17 3-point attempts and 18-of-57 (31.6 percent) overall.

Mike Davis added 13 points and nine rebounds for Illinois. Verdell Jones II scored 12 points to lead Indiana (12-19, 3-15), which will have the bottom seed in the Big Ten tournament.
