Jeremy Lamb scored a team-high 17 points, and Kemba Walker had 11 of his 16 in the second half as No. 15 Connecticut halted a two-game skid with a 67-59 triumph over host Cincinnati on Sunday.

The Huskies (21-7, 9-7) forced a four-way tie in the Big East with Cincinnati, Villanova and West Virginia amid a nine-team cluster within three games of each other.

Yancy Gates had 14 points and seven rebounds, while Rashad Bishop and Sean Kilpatrick both added 11 points for the Bearcats (22-7, 9-7), whose three-game winning streak ended.

In addition to Lamb, Roscoe Smith and Shabazz Napier chipped in with 11 points each to give the Huskies some much-needed offense besides Walker.

UConn never trailed in the first half and took a 30-27advantage into halftime.

Connecticut closes against WVU and Notre Dame this week, while Cincinnati faces Marquette and Georgetown, as the teams vie for a first-round conference tournament bye.
