Jerai Grant and Demontez Stitt each scored 14 points and Devin Booker collected a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as Clemson took control early and rolled to a 63-49 win over visiting Wake Forest on Saturday.

Clemson (19-9, 8-6 ACC) continued to build its NCAA Tournament at-large resume, keeping a hold on fifth place in the ACC while sending last place Wake Forest (8-21, 1-13) to its eighth straight loss – seven of those coming by 14 points or more.

The Tigers limited the Demon Deacons to 34 percent shooting, including just 2 of 12 from 3-point range. It was the second-lowest scoring output of the season for Wake Forest.

Nikita Mescheriakov came off the bench to score a career-best 11 points to lead the Demon Deacons.

The Tigers held the Wake’s starters to just 32 points, while collecting 11 steals and six blocked shots – four by Grant, who also added seven rebounds.
