Nikola Vucevic notched 25 points and 12 rebounds and pitched in defensively on Derrick Williams to help host Southern Cal upset No. 10 Arizona 65-57 on Thursday night.

Southern Cal (16-12, 8-7 Pac-10) smothered Arizona’s Williams, holding him to eight points – the first time this season he failed to score in double figures. Shutting down Williams was the difference in a tight game that featured several lead changes in the second half.

Arizona went ahead with 7:54 left in the second half on a Williams layup. But Southern Cal battled back and took the lead for good with 1:47 left in the game on a pair of free throws by Alex Stephenson. The Trojans made 9 of 10 free throws with less than two minutes remaining to secure the win. Stephenson finished the game with 12 points and 10 rebounds and guard Jio Fontan scored 21 points to give Southern Cal its third consecutive win.

Jesse Perry scored 12 points to lead Arizona (23-5, 12-3 Pac-10), which had its eight-game winning streak snapped.
