Marcus Denmon scored 25 points and No. 21 Missouri won its first Big 12 Conference road game on Saturday, as the Tigers held off Iowa State 76-70 in Ames, Iowa.

Missouri (21-6, 7-5 Big 12) won its third straight, while Iowa State (14-13, 1-11 Big 12) dropped its ninth straight.

Laurence Bowers added 16 points for Missouri, while Ricardo Ratliffe notched his first double-double in conference play and fourth this season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Denmon scored 17 in the first half, as Mizzou raced to an early 12-point lead before settling for a 35-33 halftime advantage. Iowa State, which never led, tied the game at 58-58 with 6:07 remaining, but Missouri used a 10-2 run over the next three minutes to seal the game. The Tigers are now 11-1 when Denmon scores 20 or more points.

Iowa State was led by Jake Anderson who scored 17, while freshman Calvin Godfrey had a double-double with a career-high 13 points to go with 10 rebounds.
