JaJuan Johnson scored 20 points and E'Twaun Moore hit a pair of critical buckets down the stretch to help No. 11 Purdue take sole possession of second place in the Big Ten with a 70-62 victory over No. 10 Wisconsin on Wednesday evening in West Lafayette, Ind.

The Boilermakers (21-5, 10-3 Big Ten) led by as many as 13 points in the second half before Wisconsin put together a late rally to get within two, 58-56, on a pair of Ryan Evans foul shots with 3:55 remaining. Moore (19 points) then seized control of the affair, scoring at the other end on a drive and then adding a 3-pointer at the 2:09 mark to extend the Purdue lead to seven.

Johnson added 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Boilermakers, who also got 17 points from Lewis Jackson. Jon Leuer paced the Badgers (19-6, 9-4) with 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting, while Jordan Taylor added 15 points.

Purdue committed just four turnovers in the victory and hit 17-of-19 free throws while holding Wisconsin to 3-of-19 shooting from 3-point range.
