Jacob Pullen scored 19 points, including the game-winning layup with 2.6 seconds remaining, to lift Kansas State to an 86-85 win over Iowa State on Saturday afternoon in Ames, Iowa.

Pullen scored the last five points in the final 52 seconds for Kansas State (16-8, 4-5 Big 12), which notched its first conference road win of the year in five tries, and has its first two-game win streak in league play.

Iowa State (14-10, 1-8 Big 12) blew a 81-75 lead with 3:02 remaining and has now lost six straight overall and five in a row to K-State at the Hilton Coliseum.

Kansas State made a season-high 14 3-pointers in 27 attempts and shot 51 percent overall (33 of 65). The bench saved the Wildcats, as the reserves scored 46 of K-State’s 86 points, including three double-figure scorers, Will Spradling (14), Nick Russell (13) and Martavious Irving (10).

Iowa State was led by Diante Garrett’s 23 points and eight assists, while Scott Christopherson added 22.
