Nikola Vucevic finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead Southern Cal to a thrilling 63-61 victory over host Arizona State on Thursday.
The Trojans (12-9, 4-4 Pac-10) trailed for most of the game before using a 14-2 run to seize a 53-45 lead with 6:53 remaining.
Arizona State fought back to tie the game 58-58 on two free throws by Rihards Kuksiks with 1:05 to go before USC hit four straight from the foul line to make it 62-58 with 35 seconds left.
Trent Lockett hit a 3-pointer to get Arizona State within one, and the Sun Devils had two chances to win after USC's Garrett Jackson missed one of two free throws with 16 seconds to go. But Ty Abbott missed a pair of 3-point shots in the final seconds.
Maurice Jones added 14 points, six assists and six steals for the Trojans.
Kuksiks scored 22 points and Abbott had 19 for Arizona State (9-11, 1-7).
