Sean Kilpatrick scored 18 points, leading Cincinnati to a 74-66 win over South Florida in a Big East game Wednesday night.

The Bearcats (16-1, 3-1 Big East) bounced back from their first loss of the season Sunday at Villanova and gave the Bulls their seventh straight defeat.

Darnell Wilks scored 12 points while Dion Dixon and Cashmere Wright added 11 apiece for the Bearcats. Ron Anderson Jr. scored 13 points to lead South Florida (6-12, 0-5 Big East).

South Florida led by six points on two occasions in the first half, but Cincinnati rallied and was ahead 37-32 at halftime.

Kilpatrick's 3-pointer gave the Bearcats a 52-41 lead with 12:16 to play, but the Bulls rallied and cut the margin to 58-54 with 6:10 remaining. Cincinnati built the lead to 69-59 with 2:07 left.

The Bearcats sealed the win at the foul line in the final six minutes, making 13 of 14.

Augustus Gilchrist scored 11 points for South Florida. Jawanza Poland added 10, but fouled out with 7:14 to play.
