Malcolm Grant led the way with 22 points as Miami used a 3-point barrage on the way to a 94-59 victory over Pepperdine on Thursday.

Grant hit four 3s in the game, three in the first half, and made all eight shots from the free-throw line to pace the Hurricanes (11-3). Miami hit on 12 of 25 3-point attempts on the way to a 53.8-percent performance overall.

The Hurricanes used eight first-half 3s to open up a 43-25 lead at the break, and cruised in the second half en route to their ninth win in the past 10 games. But they'll have little time to celebrate their latest victory; they visit the top-ranked Duke blue Devils on Sunday.

Durand Scott had 17 points for Miami while Erik Swoope added 13 and Reggie Johnson chipped in with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Mychel Thompson had a team-best 15 points for Pepperdine (5-11), losers of three straight. Keion Bell (12) was the only other Waves player to score in double figures.
