Kevin Parrom and Brendon Lavender made clutch plays in the final minute to lift host Arizona to a 63-58 win over Northern Arizona, Thursday in Tempe, Ariz.

With the game tied, 58-58, with 1:21 to play, Parrom converted a traditional three-point play. Lane then came up with a steal and turned it into a dunk to put Arizona up five with 19 seconds left.

Northern Arizona suffered its second straight loss to a Pac-10 team, despite winning the rebound battle by 10. USC beat the Lumberjacks 60-52 on Dec. 11.

The Wildcats (9-2) trailed for much of the game and had no answer for Northern Arizona's Cameron Jones, who had a game-high 27 points in a losing cause.

Derrick Williams led Arizona with 17 points, and Parrom finished with 14.

The Wildcats travel to North Carolina State Saturday and will open Pac-10 play at Oregon on Dec. 30.

Northern Arizona (7-4) will try to bounce back at home against Air Force Wednesday.
