Lorenzo Brown scored 13 points and DeShawn Painter added 12 as North Carolina State took down Fairleigh Dickinson, 77-67, on Saturday.

Scott Woods hit 4-of-5 3-pointers to finish with 12 points for the Wolfpack (4-1), who bounced back after losing to Georgetown in the Charleston Classic.

The game was tied at 13-13 in the first half when North Carolina State broke away with a 16-4 run. Painter scored eight points during the spurt and Brown capped it with a jumper with 5:00 left in the period. The Wolfpack took a 39-29 lead into the break and Wood drained four 3-pointers in the first seven minutes of the second half to stave off any rally by the Knights.

NC State sees its schedule get much tougher next week, when it goes on the road to face Wisconsin and Syracuse.

Terence Grier scored 23 points for Fairleigh Dickinson (0-3), which has yet to reach 70 points this season and still has to make road trips to Connecticut and Rutgers in the first half of December.
