Missouri knocked off Wyoming 72-62 on Tuesday at Aventura Spa Palace Resort in the 2010 Cancun Challenge.

The Tigers, who were led by Michael Dixon's 17 points, play the championship game within the Riviera Division against LaSalle on Wednesday.

No. 12 Missouri (3-0) never trailed, jumping to a 3-0 lead on a 3-pointer from Marcus Denmon. Kim English drained another 3-pointer to double the Tigers’ lead.

Missouri finished 4-of-11 from beyond the arc, and shot 13-of-32 (40.6 percent) on field goals in the first half on its way to building a 35-20 lead at the break.

Wyoming (2-3) turned to Amath M’Baye in the second half. He nailed a jumper on the Cowboys' first possession followed by three free throws and a another jumper.

In a little more than two minutes, he scored all seven of Wyoming’s points. M’Baye scored 15 of his team-high 16 points in the second half.
