Syracuse scored the game’s final seven points to pull out a 63-60 victory over William & Mary at the Carrier Dome on Sunday afternoon as part of the Legends Classic.

William & Mary (0-3) led, 60-56, with three minutes remaining before Syracuse rallied. Scoop Jardine followed his own miss to cut the deficit in half. Jardine then assisted on Kris Joseph's layup that tied the game with 2:13 on the clock, and Baye Moussa Keita put the Orange (4-0) ahead to stay with a free throw at the 1:29 mark.

Joseph finished with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Jardine added 11 points on 4-of-17 shooting, 11 assists and five steals. Rick Jackson had 11 points and 10 boards - five offensive - for Syracuse, which outrebounded William & Mary 14-7 on the offensive glass and committed just eight turnovers.

Syracuse forced 19 turnovers to offset a mediocre 22-for-60 shooting performance.

Quinn McDowell and Marcus Kitts paced William & Mary with 16 points apiece.
