Five Clemson players scored in double figures, and the Tigers held off Wofford for a 78-70 home victory on Monday.

Forward Jerai Grant led Clemson with 13 points and six rebounds, and guard Demontez Stitt added 12 points and six boards. Milton Jennings and Andre Young scored 11 apiece, and Devin Booker added 10 for Clemson.

The Tigers (2-0) led by as many as 16 in the first half and held a 40-30 advantage at halftime. They were able to hold the Terriers at arm's length throughout the second half.

Noah Dahlman scored 17 points to lead Wofford, Brad Loesing added 14 and Cameron Rundles scored 10.

The Tigers shot 52 percent from the field.

Clemson's bench outscored Wofford's reserves 25-14.
