Paul Pierce scored 30 points and Ray Allen added 23 points as the Boston Celtics defeated the Toronto Raptors 93-79 on Sunday.

Glen Davis added 15 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as Boston (25-7) snapped a two-game losing streak.

DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points to pace Toronto (11-22).

The Celtics played without Kevin Garnett (calf) but got point guard Rajon Rondo back from an ankle injury. Rondo had four points and eight assists in 34 minutes after missing the previous seven games.

Boston shot 54.3 percent from the field. The Raptors shot 37.8 percent and were a woeful 1-of-14 from 3-point range.

Pierce and Allen each made three 3-point baskets for Boston.

The Celtics led by just one point at halftime before holding Toronto to 37 second-half points.

Joey Dorsey had 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Amir Johnson had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto. The Raptors played without leading-scorer Andrea Bargnani (calf) for the fourth straight game.
