Trail Blazers 107, Lakers 77: C.J. McCollum scored a career-high 27 points off the bench as visiting Portland completed its first season sweep of Los Angeles since 1993-94.

Damian Lillard scored 16 of his 20 points in the first half for the Trail Blazers, who clinched the Northwest Division title and maintained their grip on fourth place in the Western Conference race. Arron Afflalo added 17 points and LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Portland.

Jordan Clarkson scored 18 of his 27 points in the first half for the Lakers. Wesley Johnson had 11 points and matched his career high with 15 rebounds, Jabari Brown scored 11 and fellow rookie Tarik Black finished with 10 points for Los Angeles.

The Trail Blazers moved ahead for good as Lillard made three 3-pointers in a 9-0 run that put them ahead 13-6. Los Angeles then went scoreless the final four minutes of the opening quarter as Portland scored the last 11 points to extend the lead to 26-12 entering the second frame.

The Trail Blazers continued to march on, expanding the lead to as much as 25 with 3:20 left in the first half before the Lakers managed to trim the deficit to 52-39 at the break. The Lakers closed within to 11 at the end of the third but Portland scored the first eight points of the fourth to move back ahead by 19 and cruised from there.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clarkson, a rookie out of Missouri, came in averaging 21 points and 6.7 assists in the last six games. … Trail Blazers F Dorell Wright will be sidelined four-to-six weeks after breaking his left hand. … McCollum scored his previous career high of 23 points on March 24 against the Golden State Warriors.
