Nets 111, Pacers 106: Brook Lopez continued his recent tear as he recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds to power Brooklyn past visiting Indiana.

Joe Johnson added 21 points for the Nets, who have won a season-high four straight games to move into sole possession of the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. Alan Anderson led the reserves with 20 points, Jarrett Jack had 13 points and Deron Williams finished with 11 points to go along with eight assists for Brooklyn.

George Hill scored 28 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Pacers, who fell 1 1/2 games behind the Nets. David West contributed 14 points, six rebounds and six assists while Luis Scola and C.J. Watson had 13 apiece for Indiana, which wasted a 12-of-23 performance from 3-point range.

Johnson scored nine straight points for the Nets to give them a 78-76 lead and Jack converted a three-point play to push the margin to eight with 7:05 remaining in the fourth quarter. Thaddeus Young scored on two straight trips to put Brooklyn on top 97-85 and Johnson buried a crucial 3-pointer with 15.4 seconds left to preserve the victory.

Lopez scored 10 points during a 20-2 run to end the first quarter as the Nets sped ahead 33-15 before Watson sparked a 15-4 surge to pull the Pacers within 45-40. Lopez, Williams and Markel Brown combined to score 40 of Brooklyn's 57 points in the first half to give the Nets a three-point lead at intermission before Hill drilled a 3-pointer and finished at the rim to put the Pacers in front 68-65.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lopez has scored 20 or more points in seven consecutive games. … Young produced eight points, seven rebounds and four assists after missing the previous two games with a strained left knee. … Pacers SG C.J. Miles played six minutes before leaving the game with a sprained right ankle.
