Jazz 104, Timberwolves 84: Gordon Hayward scored 22 points and matched his career high of four steals as visiting Utah rolled past Minnesota.

Trey Burke added 19 points off the bench and Trevor Booker matched his season best of 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Jazz won their second straight game. Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 12 rebounds for his fifth straight double-double.

Zach LaVine scored 21 points and Andrew Wiggins had 17 for the Timberwolves, who lost for the 11th time in the last 13 games. Chase Budinger had 14 points and seven rebounds for Minnesota, which shot just 36.8 percent from the field.

Utah came roaring out of halftime by scoring 14 straight points with Booker’s dunk off a steal and an assist by Gobert making it 64-40 with 8:01 left in the third quarter. The Timberwolves moved within 18 on Budinger’s 3-pointer with 4:03 left before the Jazz took an 81-57 lead into the final stanza.

Utah led by 15 points early in the second quarter after a 23-4 burst but Minnesota answered with 11 straight points to pull within four. The Jazz closed the half on an 11-4 run to take a 50-40 lead into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jazz G Rodney Hood left with concussion-like symptoms in the third quarter and had seven points in 11 minutes. … The Timberwolves had just eight players available after C Gorgui Dieng (concussion) joined the list of injured players on Sunday. … Utah PF Derrick Favors (back) missed his second straight game.
