Raptors 94, Lakers 83: Jonas Valanciunas scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Toronto pulled away from visiting Los Angeles to claim the Atlantic Division title.

Lou Williams added 18 points off the bench for the Raptors, who moved within a game of the Bulls in the race for third spot in the East. James Johnson tallied 17 points while DeMar DeRozan was limited to just six points on 1-of-10 shooting but contributed 10 rebounds and seven assists for Toronto.

Jeremy Lin recorded 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists and Jordan Clarkson had 14 points for the Lakers, who have dropped 17 of their last 19 road games. Wayne Ellington scored nine points in a reserve role and Tarik Black pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lakers.

Greivis Vasquez drilled a 3-pointer as part of a 12-3 run to put Toronto on top 66-60 and Patrick Patterson connected from beyond the arc to push the margin to double digits at 76-66. Johnson knocked down two jumpers during a decisive 10-0 burst to give the Raptors an 87-72 lead as they went on to clinch their second division title in as many years.

Lin sparked an 8-0 spurt as the Lakers jumped out to a 24-14 lead before Valanciunas finished at the rim to put the Raptors ahead by two with 2:30 left in the second stanza. Clarkson and Lin scored 10 points apiece in the first half to help Los Angeles take a 48-46 advantage at intermission before Terrence Ross scored eights straight points for Toronto to even the score at 54.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Valanciunas and Johnson went a combined 15-of-22 from the floor. … Los Angeles coach Byron Scott returned to the sideline after missing the previous two games to attend his mother's funeral. … DeRozan did not make his first field goal until the 8:34 mark of the fourth quarter.
