Knicks 104, Spurs 100 (OT): Alexey Shved recorded 21 points and seven assists as New York held visiting San Antonio without a field goal for the final 4:43 of overtime to stun the defending NBA champions.

Langston Galloway scored a team-high 22 points and Andrea Bargnani added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks, who blocked 10 shots. Lou Amundson tallied 12 points and a career-high 17 rebounds while Jason Smith had 11 points off the bench for New York.

Tony Parker led the way with 21 points and six assists for the Spurs, who shot 38.3 percent from the floor. Tim Duncan collected 17 points, Kawhi Leonard had 13 and Tiago Splitter finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds for San Antonio, which fell one game behind the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks in the race for the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

Marco Belinelli knocked down a clutch jumper from the wing to put the Spurs on top 96-94 with 20.5 seconds remaining in regulation before Shved fed Amundson inside for the game-tying layup with 5.5 seconds left and Leonard's potential game-winner rimmed out. Shved made a pair of free throws to put the Knicks in front 100-99 and they led by two with 14.7 seconds left in the extra session before Duncan missed his second attempt from the foul line and Shved kept his nerve once more from the charity stripe to preserve the victory.

Splitter scored six points as part of a 10-0 run to put the Spurs ahead 42-29 before Galloway drilled a 3-pointer and three jumpers during a 17-7 surge to pull the Knicks within 66-63 late in the third quarter. Shved's 3-pointer capped a 9-2 run to open the fourth as New York evened the score at 77 and Cole Aldrich's jump hook gave the Knicks their first lead of the game at 86-84.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Knicks and Spurs both finished 3-of-14 from 3-point range. … San Antonio went 25-of-30 from the free-throw line while New York finished 19-of-27. … Knicks G Tim Hardaway Jr. missed the game with a wrist injury while Spurs G Manu Ginobili sat out with a sprained right ankle.
