Spurs 101, Suns 74: Kawhi Leonard collected 22 points, 10 rebounds and three steals as visiting San Antonio closed out its road trip in style by holding Phoenix to a season scoring low.

Aron Baynes collected 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who finished out their nine-game rodeo road trip with a 4-5 mark. Danny Green and Boris Diaw each added 12 points while Tim Duncan grabbed 10 rebounds as San Antonio evened its road record at 16-16.

Marcus Morris scored 19 points off the bench and Eric Bledsoe added 12 as the Suns shot 29.8 percent from the field. Markieff Morris scored 10 points and P.J. Tucker grabbed 11 rebounds but went 1-of-7 from the floor for Phoenix.

The Spurs built a 24-13 lead by the end of the first quarter and held the Suns scoreless for the first 4 1/2 minutes of the second to spread the gap to 20 points. Green nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send San Antonio into the break up 51-24 as Phoenix went 8-for-43 from the field in the half.

Duncan capped an 8-0 run to make it 63-29 with 5:39 left in the third, and the Spurs went into the fourth holding a 75-41 advantage. Marcus Morris scored 15 points in the first six minutes of the final period to help cut the deficit to 20 points but San Antonio was never in any danger of surrendering the lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phoenix’s 24 points marked a franchise low for any half, beating the 25 scored against Sacramento in 2001. … Duncan played in his 1,308th career game, passing Buck Williams for 12th on the all-time list. … Suns G Brandon Knight totaled one point on 0-of-6 shooting and sat out the second half with a hip injury.
