Knicks 103, Raptors 98: Tim Hardaway Jr. collected 22 points and seven rebounds as host New York took advantage of struggling Toronto.

Andrea Bargnani added 19 points and Alexey Shved scored 15 off the bench for the Knicks, who have won back-to-back games for the first time since a three-game streak from Jan. 19-23. Lou Amundson contributed nine points and three blocks for New York.

Lou Williams scored 22 points to lead the Raptors, who dropped a season-high fifth straight game. Jonas Valanciunas scored 16 points while James Johnson and Greivis Vasquez added 14 apiece for Toronto.

Williams hit a jumper to pull the Raptors within 80-79 with 9:48 left before Shved hit a 3-pointer and Amundson scored seven in a 14-2 run to make it a 13-point edge for the Knicks with 5:50 to play. Toronto battled back within 100-98 on Patrick Patterson’s putback with 33 seconds left but Shved found Langston Galloway for a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession and New York put it away.

The Knicks led by 10 points early in the second quarter and were up 34-26 before Vasquez hit a 3-pointer to kick off a 9-0 spurt. New York recovered to take a 50-47 lead into the break and closed the third quarter with an 8-2 run to fight off another deficit and go into the fourth ahead 75-71.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto G Kyle Lowry sat out to rest nagging injuries to his calf, finger and hamstring. … The Knicks honored former forward Anthony Mason, who died earlier in the day, with a moment of silence and a video tribute. … Raptors G DeMar DeRozan went 3-of-15 from the floor and is shooting 29.6 percent over the last five games.
