Jazz 104, Nuggets 82: Derrick Favors collected 21 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots as Utah jumped out to a big lead and never looked back to hand Denver its ninth consecutive home loss.

Trey Burke added 19 points and four steals off the bench and Gordon Hayward had 15 points for the Jazz, who recorded a season-high 15 blocked shots. Rodney Hood tallied 14 points while Rudy Gobert finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and six blocks for Utah, which shot 57.4 percent from the floor.

Will Barton scored 22 points in a reserve role for the Nuggets, who have dropped 18 of their last 20 games. Danilo Gallinari chipped in 13 points and Kenneth Faried had 12 points and eight rebounds after missing one game with a thumb injury for Denver, which couldn't overcome 33.3 percent shooting.

Favors converted a three-point play as part of a 10-1 run to put the Jazz on top 68-48 and Burke hit a floater to push the margin to 27 heading into the fourth quarter. Gobert muscled his way inside to give Utah its biggest lead of the game at 82-53, and the Jazz coasted the rest of the way to secure their first win in Denver since Dec. 13, 2013.

Hayward scored eight points as the Jazz sped ahead 19-6 and they led by as many as 18 in the second quarter after Favors finished emphatically at the rim. Burke led all scorers with 12 points as Utah held the Nuggets to 28.2 percent shooting in the first half to take a 50-34 advantage into the break.
