Pacers 93, Cavaliers 86: George Hill had 15 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his first career triple-double as Indiana posted a victory over a shorthanded Cleveland team that opted to rest LeBron James.

Rodney Stuckey scored 19 points and C.J. Miles had 13 as the Pacers recorded their 10th consecutive home win over the Cavaliers. David West added 12 points as Indiana won for the seventh time in nine games.

J.R. Smith scored 21 points and Kevin Love had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland, which was without point guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) in addition to James, who scored a season-high 42 in Thursday’s victory over the Golden State Warriors. Iman Shumpert added 14 points and a season-best 10 rebounds and Matthew Dellavedova matched his season best with 14 points and also grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who lost for just the third time in 21 contests.

The Pacers led by 13 entering the final quarter before Cleveland trimmed it to six, but Indiana scored the next nine points to make it 85-70 on West’s basket with 4:52 remaining. The Cavaliers made another charge by scoring 11 straight points to move within four but were unable to get any closer.

Cleveland led 21-8 midway through the first quarter before the Pacers dominated the second quarter and led 51-45 at the break. After holding the Cavaliers to 17 second-quarter points, Indiana limited them to 16 in the third and took a 74-61 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Coach David Blatt told reporters it was his decision to rest James because Cleveland is in a stretch of seven games in 10 days. … Pacers coach Frank Vogel (191) passed Larry Brown for most victories in franchise history. … Indiana had a 15-0 edge in fast-break points.
