Pelicans 105, Heat 91:
Eric Gordon hit six 3-pointers en route to 24 points as visiting New Orleans survived a pair of injuries to top an emotional Miami team.

The Pelicans lost All-Star forward Anthony Davis in the first quarter when he aggravated a shoulder injury that kept him out of two games before the break and then saw sharpshooter Ryan Anderson depart with a knee injury in the second. Meanwhile, the Heat were playing their first game since learning that All-Star forward Chris Bosh was lost for the season due to blood clots in his lungs.

Omer Asik scored 15 points and Tyreke Evans added 13 for New Orleans, which snapped a four-game slide. Mario Chalmers finished with 20 points off the bench and Dwyane Wade scored 19 on 8-of-23 shooting for Miami, which received 12 points from Goran Dragic in his debut with the team after being acquired in a trade Thursday.

Davis had six points and six rebounds before leaving with 3:07 left in the first, helping the Pelicans race to a 25-14 lead. The advantage grew to as many as 14 in the second before New Orleans settled for a 52-42 halftime lead, making 15-of-16 free throws to help offset 16 first-half points by Chalmers.

Gordon had three straight 3-pointers to spark a 19-4 burst out of the locker room and hit another triple to start a 7-0 run later in the third quarter as the margin grew to 78-55. Luke Babbitt opened the fourth with another make from beyond the arc to give New Orleans an 88-65 lead, and the margin never got smaller than 13 down the stretch as the Pelicans snapped a five-game losing streak in Miami.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bosh was admitted to the hospital Thursday after having pain in his chest and the Heat announced Saturday that doctors found multiple blood clots in his lungs, adding that Bosh was "resting comfortably" and his "prognosis is good." ... Pelicans PG and former Heat Norris Cole had 12 points and six rebounds in his debut with the team. ... Heat C Hassan Whiteside recorded 11 points, 16 rebounds and five blocked shots.
