Pistons 100, Bulls 91: Andre Drummond had 18 points and 20 rebounds as shorthanded Detroit knocked off visiting Chicago.

Greg Monroe and Caron Butler added 20 points apiece for the Pistons, who dressed 10 players following a movement of players at Thursday’s trade deadline. Spencer Dinwiddie finished with 12 points and nine assists, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also scored 12 and John Lucas III and Jodie Meeks contributed nine points apiece off the bench.

Jimmy Butler scored 30 points to lead Chicago but backcourt mate Derrick Rose was limited to eight points on 2-for-9 shooting and committed six turnovers. Taj Gibson had 15 points and nine rebounds off the bench, Pau Gasol had 12 points and eight rebounds and Joakim Noah finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Bulls, who had their four-game win streak snapped.

Chicago trailed by nine entering the fourth quarter but scored the first six points to get within three with 8:41 left. Meeks scored four unanswered points a couple minutes later to give the Pistons some breathing room at 83-76 and the Bulls couldn’t get closer than five the rest of the way.

The Bulls scored the final eight points of the first quarter to take a 23-22 lead into the second. They extended the lead to 53-45 at the break as Butler had 14 points and five assists in that span, but a 20-3 run by the Pistons put them on top 71-60 and they carried a nine-point advantage into the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Reggie Jackson and Tayshaun Prince, acquired by the Pistons in trade deadline deals Thursday, did not play in the game. … Drummond recorded his 13th game with at least 20 rebounds, which ties Dwight Howard for the most 20-rebound games by a player 21 years old or younger. … Detroit scored 26 points off 20 turnovers by Chicago, compared to 11 points off 12 turnovers for the Bulls.
