Clippers 110, Rockets 95: DeAndre Jordan scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed 20 rebounds for his third 20-20 game in eight days as Los Angeles knocked off visiting Houston.

J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford added 20 points apiece and Chris Paul finished with 12 points and 12 assists for the Clippers, who have won 11 of the last 12 against the Rockets. Spencer Hawes contributed 12 points while starting in place of injured Blake Griffin and Chris Paul collected 12 points and 12 assists for Los Angeles in its first game back after a nine-game road trip.

Corey Brewer scored 22 points and fellow reserve Josh Smith had 21 points and 13 rebounds for Houston, which shot 9-of-45 from 3-point range. James Harden, the NBA’s leading scorer at 27.7 points coming in, finished with nine points on 3-for-12 shooting while missing all seven attempts from beyond the arc.

Neither team led by more than seven until Crawford banked in a straightaway 3-pointer for an 89-81 lead with 9:11 left in the game. The Rockets cut the deficit back to five on the next two possessions but went nearly five minutes without a field goal as Los Angeles extended its lead to 13 with 3:26 on the clock, and Jordan shot 7-for-16 from the line during a nearly two-minute stretch in which he was intentionally fouled eight times.

Harden, who combined for 85 points in the last two games and was named an All-Star starter earlier in the day, was held to six points in the first half but Houston shot 53.5 percent in the period and the reserves accounted for 25 points to help the Rockets take a 56-54 lead into the break. The Rockets missed 10 straight field goal attempts and the Clippers took advantage with a 7-0 run to take 70-64 lead before Houston reeled them back in and trailed by one entering the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rockets fell to 8-5 in the second game of back-to-backs this season. … Houston F Terrence Jones missed his second straight game with flu-like symptoms and a leg injury. … The Clippers had all five starters in double figures just past the midway point of the third quarter.
